Hi, I’m Kristin, founder of The Finch Co, and yeah I'm old enough that I once rocked a side pony when it was cool.

I'm a mother of five wonderful neurodivergent children and a passionate advocate for emotional well-being and self-regulation.

For the past 26 years, I’ve had the privilege of raising children with diverse needs, each one teaching me valuable lessons about patience, resilience, and the power of understanding.

HUMANkind

Welcome to HUMANkind, a space where empathy, understanding, and emotional growth come together

With a background in special education, I’ve gained a deep understanding of how essential it is for children—especially those with neurodivergent brains—to have tools and strategies for recognizing and managing their emotions. I’m committed to creating a world where every child feels empowered to understand themselves and take control of their emotional journey.

The Finch Co is a reflection of that commitment. Here, I hope to not only raise funds to support my beautiful daughter, who faces her own challenges, but also provide resources, guidance, and tools for parents and educators. My goal is to help children of all abilities learn the vital skill of emotional regulation and give families the resources they need to foster emotional resilience in their children.

Whether you’re a parent, educator, or someone who wants to make a difference, I invite you to explore the tools and resources available here. I believe that with the right support and education, every child can thrive—and I’m here to help make that a reality.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

Together, we can raise the next generation of emotionally empowered children
